TREM1 modulates NF-κB activity and facilitates the activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome. Following transfection with negative control siRNA (siNC) or TREM1-siRNA (siTREM1) for a duration of 24 hours, the cell culture medium was replaced and subsequently stimulated with LPS (5 μg/ml) for a period of 24 hours prior to harvesting.
